New year, same old love?
"I'm so sick of that same old love, it tears me up. I'm so sick of that same old love, my body's had enough."
Are you struggling to get the love you want and instead getting "that same old love"? You're not alone. Most of us have been there, and many are still there. The highs can be intoxicating; finding a new lover, someone to adore, another fix of the drug called love. Then, late at night or in the early hours of the morning, that familiar feeling of (to quote another pop icon) "oops, I did it again" creeps in. The same old love, replayed. The same story, dressed up differently.
Maybe you've chosen someone who "rings your bells" or "rubs you the right way." Maybe the love you have is "cool for the summer," a "bad romance," or with "somebody that you used to know." Whatever the case, you're tired. Your body, and your soul, has had enough.
If you're struggling with "that same old love" and if you've had enough, I have one question for you: Is this the year you get the love that you want?
It's possible to get the love you want. If you're not sure how, I can work with you to recognize relationship patterns, explore emotions, and communicate more effectively with those you care about.
