Work at Freed

Practitioners

Freed Bodyworks was founded by a genderqueer massage therapist and based on the core principles of inclusion and self-determination. On our team, we have a strong culture of living life out loud and we share a strong passion for creating safe space. Freed Bodyworks therapists must be accepting and affirming of all identities including: people of color, gender non-conforming people, larger bodied people, open and closeted kinky people, people who do sex-work, and people with movement, sensory, or neurological disabilities. At Freed, we espouse a strong ethic of Health At Every Size.

We are growing organically and will be hiring people of diverse modalities that are good matches for our existing culture. Listed here are some of the types of practitioners that we are seeking though all holistic practitioners who resonate with Freed Bodyworks goals and values are encouraged to apply. POC and GNC to the front. ASL and other languages are a plus.

We look for applicants with at least one year of full-time experience in their field. If you're a newly licensed LMT in the District of Columbia, consider applying to our apprenticeship program.
